As a consultant surgeon I am specialised in the treatment of diseases of the pancreas, liver, gallbladder and biliary tract. In addition, I perform surgery on the viscera (oesophagus, stomach, intestines and spleen) as well as hernias and carry out gastroand colonoscopies.

The liver is the most vital organ of the body’s metabolism and plays an integral part in the regulation of the sugar, fat and protein metabolism.

GALL
A frequent disease of the gallbladder are gallstones (cholelithiasis); an inflammation of the gallbladder (cholecystitis) is less common.
EXPERTISE
I have many years of clinical experience in general and visceral surgery, minimally invasive surgery (keyhole surgery) and endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy). When it comes to complex surgical procedures you can rely on my profound surgical training and practice.
THE SURGERY
This is a private surgery (private practice only, bills are partly refunded by national health insurance). Payment of the fee can be made right in the office or by bank transfer.
Usually, a part of the fee is covered by your health insurance provider. To this end, you have to send the paid invoice to your health insurance provider.

I am available for you in my office every Wednesday from 3.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. by prior appointment. Appointments outside these surgery hours can be made by arrangement.
